Sports Injury Therapy
The nature and severity of a sporting injury will determine the rehabilitation approach to be taken. For this reason, treatment always starts with an assessment.
During the assessment I will establish the precise nature and scale of the injury. This will enable me to identify and prescribe the most appropriate rehabilitation programme for you.
Some injuries may only need one treatment; others may require a series of treatments. Some injuries respond well to advanced remedial massage techniques; for others, this is not necessary.
What is clear, however, is that most injuries benefit from some form of stretching and/or other exercise regime. I can advise you on what you should be doing and provide you with a programme tailored to your specific needs.
This full service approach will not only aid your recovery from injury but it will also help you prevent the injury from recurring.
Female clients may also be interested to know that I can offer lymphatic drainage massage. This can help to redefine leg shape and tone through the removal of excess fluid. Lymphatic drainage massage can make legs look slimmer, and even help with cellulite.
